Two of my favorite things in the world are fashion and traveling. Over the years I have developed a quick and easy system when packing for my trips. It helps me think not only with my outfits in mind, but also looking at things practically. Whenever I’m getting ready for any kind of travel-o-rama, I always pack clothes that can be layered so that I can get a variety of looks from recycling the same pieces. Knowing that I’ll be using my camera to take lots of pictures, I try to pack clothes that are colorful and bright to make sure I stand out in the photos. I also pack just enough basic neutral colors to add contrast and compliment my bright color scheme. I especially go for neutral tank tops which can be worn under a bright cardigan in variety of weather conditions and social situations. When I pack dresses, I make sure to pack an “all occasion” dress such as bandeau style, and then add current stylish looks like a halter neck swing and a really fun maxi. Unfortunately bringing a closet full of shoes isn’t practical or simply not possible……..boo hoo. So, channeling my practical side, I limit myself to two pairs of heels, black and nude and on the airplane wear my favorite pair of Toms or cute flats to be comfortable. A few pairs of skinny jeans, shorts, and a swim suit along with some must have accessories such as a pair of sunglasses and a chic hobo bag complete my suitcase. Bon Voyage.
