What's better than sunny days and sultry evenings that invite utter indulgence? From candlelit dinners to couples massages, vacations are made for rekindling romance and feeding the flames. Whether you are wishing to renew your love, celebrate an anniversary or enjoy your honeymoon, spending time with your sweetheart is something we all need to do more often. I did some research and found some of my favorite romantic destinations worth checking out.

Paris | France
On the top of my list and I’m sure on yours as well is Paris, France. From timeless classics to the latest trends, luxury is ever so evident in the romantic city of Paris. The year's calendar is filled with couture fashion shows, prestigious horse racing events and contemporary art and antique fairs. For luxury gourmet a trip to Gordon Ramsay’s exquisite two-Michelin-starred restaurant is a must. For relaxation and well-being, the capital has ultra-chic addresses, not forgetting the "Golden Triangle" where the greatest fashion designers present their collections.

Marrakech | Morocco
Gorgeous, exotic and romantic, Marrakech offers beautiful architecture and a wealth of cultural heritage to discover. Mysterious mosques, authentic Morroccan shopping and five-star hotels ensure that a couple won't run out of things to do. Marrakech boasts the largest outdoor market in all of Morocco. It’s a perfect place to shop for berber rugs, spices and other goods. A vacation to Marrakech must include a visit to a Hammam (or Turkish Bath), and a couple can easily spend days strolling the streets of the more interesting and ancient parts of the city, discovering architecture that dates back to the 11th century.

Bora Bora | French Polynesia
Truly, this could easily be described as the center of the romantic universe where luxury meets romance. From the dramatic scenery to the privacy and amenities of the overwater bungalows, everything in Bora Bora equals a 10 on the romance scale. The main island of Bora Bora is an extinct volcano consisting of two peaks named Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu. A shallow lagoon surrounds the main island, and a barrier reef encircles it. The island’s perfect white-sand beaches and tropical fish packed lagoons give way to emerald waters and breath taking views.
